Be ready, cause tonight it's happening!!

Dexter:

After I don't know how long, I think around 6 months the next season of Dexter comes out. It happens tonight. It's the seventh season after a crazy cliffhanger at the end of the sixth season where Deb finds Dexter stabbing a guy in the hearth on his famous "dinner table". So tonight it happens and I presume everyone who is actually interested in will find a "way" of seeing this episode.

If you haven't seen the trailer yet, you are probably unworthy of seeing the episode tonight, but hey, I'll let this one slide.

Homeland:

We have only seen one season of Homeland, lot's of Emmies and great stars, again it starts tonight, and we will see what Brody will do now. I am quite excited to see if they can keep up with the standards that they have shown us in the first season In any case I am excited to see the different great characters in place.
Enjoy the trailer here below.

James Bond, Skyfall, trailer!

I am a big James bond fan, the charm, the personality, the gadgets, the cars and of course the woman. The problem is sometimes, a movie even with all those factors in it can just be trash. Take for example the last one, quantum of Solace. I saw this one and I felt bad since it was crap. So honestly I have big hopes for the upcoming James Bond, Skyfall. Enjoy the trailer.

I think this one will provide all the necessary thrills as well as a good story and an even greater villain. Be prepared!

Taken 2, Trailer!

Liam Neeson is a vicious guy you just don’t want to piss him off. At least that’s what we have seen in the first movie, in which he almost butchered half of Europe to get to his daughter, actually I believe I would have done the same, the problem is I wouldn’t have gotten so far. So they have decided to make a second one, and from what I see in this trailer it looks sick. So sit back (relax-if you can) and enjoy the trailer.

Yeah ass kicking, shooting and killing, I am happy they made another movie, the first one was “hardcore”, based on the trailer it will be the same, I just hope the story is good enough. As always be prepared!

5 short movie reviews!

So I decided on this new format of doing things, just give reviews for a bunch of movies at once, its not that I doubt think you don’t read the long reviews, but this give you in one shot many reviews. It becomes more efficient that’s all. Since I watch different movies all the time and not only the new once I will just give you all of them, give you my felling about the movie, and then you can just “get” this movie or go to the movies to watch it or not. So let’s begin.

Safe House: I expected quite a lot from this move, Denzel is great and Reynolds has potential. Its pure action, I wanted a lot more, unfortunately the plot isn’t that interesting and the “real” bad guy is that hidden as the writer believed he would be. If you are a Denel Fan, watch it, but if not just let it slide.
Grade: 5.5 out of 10

War Horse: I am a history freak, especially the big once. This movie brings together emotions, actions and chills. The shots are spectacular and the story is moving. If you haven’t watched it I suggest you do, of course if you hate horses again not for you. If you are unbiased towards them this will be a nice movie, even though a bit too long.
Grade: 8 out of 10

Rampart: Woody Harrleson shows in this movie that he is quite the actor, he brings a kind of corrupt cop, that tries to do the right things but nothing works out for him. Drugs, alcohol, sleeping around, weird family. The whole movie you expect something to happen which doesn’t come. I would say a movie for someone with patience; you know does quality indie movies. Grade: 6.5 out of 10

American Reunion: This series is a classic, I have watch the first three of them, then there was like four or five crappy once in the middle and then this came out. The reunion of the original cast. I must admit it’s nothing special, but you have a couple of good scenes, during which you actually laugh a bit. Watch it for the old times, the young fellas of today won’t watch it because it’s not that good, so we owe it to ourselves to finish this chapter of our lives once and for all.

Grade: 7 out of 10

Act of valor: I was probably misinformed about this movie. I was sure that those navy seals or whatever they are were responsible for catching Bin Laden, and that this movie will bring us just that. So you understand that I was wrong, no Bin laden at all. What you do get is quality action. The whole movie was built up on many fronts with different enemies and missions. It is almost like a documentary to show you how there sea lions actually work. Of course they do their job well but the story was quite lame, so if you like first person shooters this movie will bring some good moves and memories , if not just let it be for others.

Grade: 6 out of 10

So that’s five movies:  some of them I suggest you watch some of them it actually depends on your taste.
See you next time.

Some of the movies I've seen, Review!

I know lately there wasn’t a lot of activity on the blog and I’m sorry for that but unfortunately I have a lot of work at my actual work. Yeah, I know I have a day job, who would believe that. All this real work doesn’t mean I didn’t watch any movies lately, not the newest once, but more the once you can “get” in a way. (everybody will understand what he wants to understand, of course he big logo on top of the post will give it away I think). So I watched a couple of them and I will give a mini review on each of them here below.

Iron Lady: This movie sucked balls if I may say so, yes she got another Oscar for it but that exactly the type of movie it is. It’s the kind of movie that gets Oscars, boring movies, without anything else that happens during the movie. I have seen the trailer and I actually was excited to see this one but it was crap and I didn’t even saw it till the end. Maybe this is the problem but it was a sort of weird torture for me. All in all: 4 out of 10

Man on a ledge: This movie was original, liked the idea, and it was nicely done. I am a big fan of the actors in questions so that’s another point here. It was interesting, entertaining and even though a bit predictable it was worth watching it and it kept me awake even though I was tired. If you haven’t still watched it, go on and enjoy. All in all: 7.5 out of 10

The Grey: Big of weird disappointment, I was prepared for this trailer, Liam is the man and I love him in action flicks, he brings out the sharp, dangerous and crazy person, which I definitely like. The whole movie had some thrilling factor, and wolfs can be scary especially when you have nothing to protect yourself with. But then it happened, the worst ending I have seen in years, what is this bullshit. You promise us something, you built it up like a freaking hurricane and then nothing, f*ck that shit.               All in all 6 out of 10.

This means war: Honestly, she is hot, not sure how old she is but she is. First reason to watch, then there is the second part, my wife was happy we watched a chick movie, and then you have the entertaining part. It was fun to watch, I liked the jokes and the perks the two spies do on each other, it was refreshing, not in the qualitative way but more in the popcorn evening don’t care about it way, you get what I am saying. Watch it why not. All in all: 7.5 out of 10

The dictator: Sasha Baron Cohen does it again, not in the same way as before, but it was funny. My definition of a funny movie is: You are alone in front of the screen and you still laugh about the jokes in a movie, meaning the movie is actually funny. The effect of friends around you laughing make you biased, you laugh when they laugh and of course the opposite. So even though the movie was scripted from a to z (Borat wasn't, at least not the whole thing) it was really funny. I enjoyed watching it, of course there is no need for cinema, just watch it at home.  All in all: 7.5 out of 10

That was that for the movies I “got” in a way, will bring you soon some more.

The Bourne Legacy, second trailer!

It became time that we got some hard footage about this new “Bourne Legacy movie” but, and this is a big but, I am a bit disappointed in the fact that the trailer tries to make Jeremy Renner’s character a better “ Bourne” than the original Bourne, I hope you understand what I mean. Everybody who watched the franchise until now just knows that Jason Bourne is the undefeated champion! We love him for his action, style and whatever he is the original. I didn’t say I don’t think Renner can’t deliver a believable Bourne, but pushing Jason of the cliff like that is rude and harsh. I especially liked that there is a direct linkage between the movies, I wasn’t sure if this would be the case but as you will see in the trailer, there is some unfinished business! Watch it, and enjoy!

I know what you think, from where the hell did Ed Norton come and landed in this movie, actually I don’t care I think this adds some serious weight to this expected summer hit. There will be action and thrills, bring it on, as always be prepared!

Expendables 2 trailer,Kick ass!

I probably know what you are going to say, the first movie was crap, why make a second one? But honestly my opinion about the first one wasn’t that bad, you need to put everything in perspective, it didn’t try to teach us a lesson or to be scary. His only purpose was to put on the silver screen all the possible action stars together so they could kick some ass. And that’s exactly what they did. The movie delivered hardcore action, explosions, big guns, knife fights, you can name it. And believe it or not it actually made some money, which of course meant a second one needs to come out. This of course isn’t the only reason; nobody wanted to piss off Chuck Norris after he decided to join the movie. Nobody had the balls to tell him; you mist your chance so they decided it would be easier to just make another one. For the Belgians between you guys you can be also proud, the muscles from Brussels, Jean Claude van Damme himself is in the movie, and if this isn’t enough we get the Governator to finish off everybody who still had doubts about this movie. And again it will do exactly what we expect, show us ridicules stunts and even bigger explosions. We could even call it Nostalgia! Watch the trailer here below, Enjoy!

Here is another trailer, fan made which I thought was funny to watch!

As promised, ridicules, but all in all together quite exciting. As always, be prepared!
