Underworld:awakening ,Trailer!!

I’m not sure where you stand on this subject, but I like it: Vampires, werewolves, blood and garlic. All this crap has made in the last decade a lot of movies and TV series. Yesterday I claimed that all the above are for teenage girls and for desperate housewives. Well maybe I exaggerated and I do “like“ those weird bloodsucking creatures made up by men. Think about it sometimes they can fly, they can live forever and they are super strong, what isn’t there to like. So since big studios like to make money of sequels here is another one, Underworld awakening. It seems that all the big characters are back which is definitely a good thing. So sit back enjoy it if you are from the vampire loving people, and if not there is nothing for you to watch here.

Loaded with action and blood, I’m not sure how good or bad this movie is going to be but it still looks quite entertaining. I hope they bring a good story and not just a lot of boom bang, splat! (Blood). So as always, be prepared!!

Review: the tourist

stars: Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie

Director: Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck

Genres: Action and a bit of drama

Release date: 6 January 2011

What?

Elise (Angelina Jolie) sits next to an American tourist, Frank (Johnny Depp), on a train going to Venice. She has chosen him as a decoy, making believe that he is her lover who is wanted by police. Not only will they need to evade the police, but also the mobster whose money her lover stole. Sounds exciting, well read and see.

Yes?
I'm not sure what to write in this section. Normally I always have something but this time it was just to much. Let say I will give them some credit for being both talented and beautiful, but in this movie it just didn't came to the front so, sorry can't do it.

It was nice that they tried to make an interesting ending or plot, but it just didn't work out. I must just say that Johnny was better than Angelina for the record!

No?
Here we go!! What was good, well quite nothing! The story was lame, the action was lame and the actors didn't have any dialogues. It was boring and predictable. Additionally this isn't just based on my taste in movies; I actually fell asleep in the middle of this, which says a lot.

I know I said it before but there were no dialogues, Angelina Jolie just didn’t say a word, she just kept quit the whole time which again is bad.

I won't waste my time on this anymore, it was bad!

Well...

If you read till here you know you shouldn't watch it, of course it can give you this extra napping aid but that's it. Don't watch it and if you already did I'm sorry the post didn't come out earlier. I just wanted to say that. And I’m sorry Angelina and Johnny I have huge amount of respect for you two but please consider the scripts you chose, please. Because of all the above I grade this…

Review: Horrible bosses

Director: Seth Gordon

Genres: Comedy

Release Date: 21 July 2011

Stars: Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis

Memorable quote:
Detective Hagan: You wanna explain why you were speeding?
Nick Hendricks: I was drag racing.
Detective Hagan: In a Prius?
Nick Hendricks: I don't win a lot.

What?
Everybody who ever worked knows the feeling of having a boss that isn't exactly your favorite creature in the world. I'm even sure that a lot of people even imagined killing their boss in one way or another. Slicing them up real nice, preparing a kill room, throwing them out of the window or just stabbing them with a pencil in the eye. (A bit too much I guess) So the difference between you and our three cases here is that they take the matter a bit farther, they actually going through with it. Plan and execute. Of course if you are not a professional killer, you probably going to have a hard time, doing it right or at all. You can only imagine how this goes on!

Yes?
Let's start with the simple stuff, you have here a bunch of serious actors who just do what they do best, act. Kevin spacey as the bastard boss, Collin Farrell as the coke head boss and Jennifer Anniston as the raping boss. Of course Jennifer has another quality besides the great acting; she just pulls it off as eye candy! (Still I must say impressive)

The trailer already shows you a bunch of the great moments, but I was happy that you had some others beside those. It was kind a funny in a hangover way, predictable, cheap but entertaining.

Bateman and Sudeikis were just perfect. Bateman was the serious guy and Charlie Day as his total opposite of him, stupid and crazy.

No?
Something really disturbed me here. The fact that they decide to kill their bosses so easily just didn't make any sense, you have bunch of other possibilities besides killing them. But whatever I guess this is the movie.

Then we had Mr. Sudeikis, who I just felt was to vanilla, he just didn't bring anything here to the movie, he wasn't too funny or important.

Well...
The movie was quite entertaining although I expected a bit more. Don't watch it at the movies, on the couch, bucket of popcorn is way enough. Because of all the above I grade this one...

Battleschip Trailer!

Everybody knows it, everybody has played it as a child and everybody got angry the moment your opponent said C17 and you needed to say: you sank my battleship! Believe it or not a studio has succeeded in writing a script over a board game and making a movie out of it. Of course as you are going to see in the trailer it’s not exactly the exact game but you can find some similarities between them. No radar, you can’t see your opponent or your enemy, so that’s quite the same. It looks interesting and as a fan of the game I’m quite excited to see what they made of this. So sit back and enjoy.

So, what did you think? Actually I’m not sure I care, this looks amazing and I will with all probability watch it, so wait a bit, get ready and as always be prepared!!

In time, Trailer!!

I saw this trailer and I decided I need to share this with you guys. The things that made it interesting aren’t the actors nor the effects, but the story. The fact that people buy life, like we get groceries just triggered a serious curiosity about the whole idea and story of this film. It looks like you get some action and even some drama, so buckle up and be ready for some messed up science fiction.

It won’t be the movie of the year nor close to it but it looked interesting so, watch it and be prepared for what is coming!

Red Tails Trailer!!

Sometimes I have the privilege and even the honor to bring you something that just makes me feel great. I remember seeing a movie years ago about the same idea and I believe this is quite the remake of The Tuskegee Airmen, a movie that shows the difficulties of the African American pilots in the World war 2. It’s an inspiring movie and it just gives me Goosebumps just watching the trailer. Of course think about the fact that George “freaking” Lucas has his fingers in this so this promises some serious action beauties.

Red Tails

Loved the trailer can’t wait for this to come out, bring it on!! And as always be prepared for what is coming!

Review: Fast Five

Director: Justin Lin

Stars:Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne Johnson

Genres: Action at the beginning, middle and end!

Release date: 6 may 2011

Memorable quote:

Chief of Police Alemeida: Is all this really necessary to apprehend two men?
Hobbs
: Let me tell you a little something about these two men. One's a former federal officer, been in deep cover for five years, knows everywhere you're gonna come from. The other one's a professional criminal, escaped prison twice, spent half his life on the run avoiding folks like you.

What?

Toretto is in custody and sentenced to serve a nice time in prison. Of course O'Conner and Mia have something to say about this and break him out. Now everyone is on the run, O’Conner, Toretto and Mia. They try to hideout in Rio, before pulling one last job that will make them enough cash to spend the rest of their lives under the radar, not in handcuffs. For this they recruit all the big players of the race world. As they assemble their elite team of top racers, the unlikely allies know their only shot of getting out for good means confronting the corrupt businessman who wants them dead. If he is not enough we get Hobbs a hard-nosed federal agent who is in it to win it. The win here is to get the whole team locked up. Let’s race!

Yes?

Let’s start with the obvious; we have here some real mussel in play. We get Vin Diesel and the rock in the same movie. I must say those big guys almost didn’t fit the movie frame. They have both huge personalities, and of course when they collide its world war 3. This of course happens and gives us a good hardcore fighting scene. This was of course expected but I loved it. The other actors did their thing which was good but again in the shadows of the giants named before.

The plot is nice, I like it that they try to tie things up with the former movies, and that they didn’t bring other actors instead someone, I hated when they do that. Maybe a bit too complicated, they try to make it something it isn’t. Give a real reason, but ok it kept you interested all the way. The ending was nice, in which they really tie everything up and send everyone were he should be.

It was an action packed movie. We have everything here from guns, cars, explosions and money, all we need.

No?

This franchise is based on cars, cars and more cars. I’m sorry but in this one the cars weren’t the most important thing. We saw a couple of car scenes but I would love to see more. For example the race where they got the two extra cars, show us that, that’s what we want! Besides that I don’t like the bad guy, he was in Desperado and he was exactly the same here, just doesn’t feel it as an actor.

Something else that disturbs me is the action that is too much, I’ll explain. You have action scenes where you just say to yourself; that’s just too much, not possible, and they played with this line a bit. If you want to keep the movie serious, you need to deliver believable action sequences.

Well…

This movie is worth enough to be in the fast and furious series, even one of the better ones so I liked it, it kept what it promised and even showed a bit more. I believe they already work on the fast six or something, so we will see something more of those guys. Watch it, it ties up loose ends!
